Williams, an American energy infrastructure company, has selected Baker Communications to deliver a series of Train-the-Trainer seminars and Win-Win Negotiations training for its safety coordinators and other employee divisions across the nation. Baker has developed a world-class Train-the-Trainer curriculum for internal trainers and supervisors, and Williams will be among the first clients to benefit from this intensive, innovative new offering from Baker Communications.

Baker Communications Senior-Level Instructors, Negotiations and Training Skills Experts will lead Williams employees through intensive training events at multiple locations across the United States. Participants in the highly interactive negotiations workshops will learn about important negotiations strategies, such as setting expectations with a prepared Wish, Aspiration, and Bottom Line, helping them appropriately handle offers and requests, and appropriately plan for trading concessions. Attendees will also learn and practice how to recognize and overcome many common negotiation tactics, enhancing their ability to stay one step ahead throughout any negotiation process. Those participating in the Train-the-Trainer seminars will discover the mechanics of adult learning, how to motivate and inform trainees, and how to deliver training that “sticks.” Participants will learn how to identify and communicate effectively with different personality types, and become certain of their roles and responsibilities as trainers in a corporate environment.
