Tesoro came to Baker for an intense customer service program for a small group of IT professionals who have exceptional background and knowledge in IT but needed some improvement in communication when dealing with customers.

A Senior Level Baker Instructor and Customer Service Expert delivered the one-day workshop in San Antonio, TX. During this intensive training program, participants learned how to identify and react to different behavioral styles, how to listen to understand the true concern, and how to neutralize conflict when it arises. They also leaned practical steps to guide conversations, using Baker Communications' SPORTS Model for Customer Interactions, and how to construct value statements that go beyond product features and functionality.
