Preservation Partners LLC, a California-based management company specializing in senior and multi-family affordable housing, has requested Sexual Harassment Awareness training from Baker Communications for its staff members. To ensure that all its employees and clients are able to function comfortably in an equitable and non-hostile environment, and in accordance with federal EEOC regulations, Preservation Partners is taking proactive steps to promote sensitivity to harassment issues. The goal of this training is to promote and maintain a productive environment free of conduct which harasses, interferes with, or disrupts any employee’s work performance, creates a hostile, offensive, or intimidating work environment, or causes discomfort or offense to clients. Through this training, Preservation Partners intends to ensure that all staff and clients are treated with respect.
A Senior-Level Instructor and Sexual Harassment Awareness Expert from Baker Communications will travel to Torrance, California to deliver the workshop for staff members. Participants will learn the legal definition of sexual harassment, how to recognize different categories of harassment, and strategies for preventing harassment from occurring. Participants will explore when and how to report incidents of harassment, and how best to fulfill their legal requirements. Seminar attendees will also have the opportunity to study situational scenarios and learn the best ways to respond.
