A human resources group at NASA contacted Baker Communications with a request for a special course in Effective Business Writing for the division's staff members. Various groups within NASA have partnered with BCI in the past for a number of training needs. When the HR group identified a need for additional skills training in this area, they were pleased to find that Baker was able to assist them with a customized writing class targeted to the staff member's skill gaps.

A Senior Level Baker Instructor and Effective Business Writing Expert will travel to deliver the short workshop for NASA staff members. During this comprehensive training program, participants will learn and practice essential business writing skills such as the use of planning and Purpose Statements to focus their message, and the Six C's of Editing to ensure that their writing is clear, complete, concise, concrete, confirmed, and correct. Workshop attendees will work through outlining, composing, and editing a project during the class to practice skills in the moment.
