Baker Communications has been selected to deliver a half-day Effective Business Writing workshop for the benefit of managers at Harvey Hohauser & Associates, an executive search firm with decades of experience recruiting successful business leaders. The firm was seeking training to enhance the quality of its written communications, and needed an experienced training partner with workshop content covering the intricacies of modern business writing etiquette. After meeting with representatives from Baker Communications and reviewing their offerings, Harvey Hohauser selected the half-day version of Baker‘s highly respected Effective Business Writing workshop to meet their training need.

 

A Senior Level Baker Instructor and Effective Business Writing Expert will travel to Troy, Michigan to meet with the client‘s management team. During this half-day workshop, participants will learn and practice essential business writing skills such as the use of planning and Purpose Statements to focus their message, and the Six C‘s of Editing to ensure that their writing is clear, complete, concise, concrete, confirmed, and correct. Workshop attendees will be given an overview of various writing styles and guidelines for proper business writing etiquette. The course materials also include a review of basic grammar, spelling and punctuation rules that will help participants to avoid missteps and make their written communications more polished and professional.
