The Chicago Bridge & Iron Company (CB&I), which designs, engineers and constructs some of the world's largest energy infrastructure projects, has asked Baker Communications to deliver a series of private workshops for individuals and groups focused on effective presentations. Baker will conduct a series of presentations training sessions for CB&I, intended to launch a multi-year development program for select groups of employees. Baker will work closely with CB&I to develop customized training to meet the training goals of the client and the specific need of the participating groups.
Senior-Level Instructors and Presentations Experts from Baker Communications will train and coach selected members of the CB&I staff. Participants in these highly interactive presentations training events will learn and practice essential public speaking techniques such as combating nervousness, controlling speed, and speaking at the proper pitch and volume to ensure maximum clarity. Attendees of the Exceptional Presentations training workshops will also learn and practice fundamentals such as identifying and flexing to others‘ Behavioral Styles in order to communicate more effectively. In addition, they will benefit from personal, one-on-one coaching, receiving expert feedback on ten video-recorded practice presentations delivered during the workshop.
