United Way of Greater Houston has asked Baker Communications to deliver training on Consultative Presentations for “loaned executives” working to generate donations for the United Way. United Way of Greater Houston chose Baker Communications for the very important job of training their “loaned executives" how to not only present the benefits of donating to the United Way, but also to affect the willingness factor of those considering making a donation. Baker was able to customize training content to meet the client’s specific needs, combining soft consultative selling skills with those of effective presenting.

A Senior Level Baker Communications Instructor and Presentation Expert will deliver the workshop for United Way of Greater Houston’s “loaned executives.” In this highly interactive training event, participants will gain experience using fundamental presentation tools such as the ASIA Opening (Audience, Idea, Solution, and Action Request) introductory format to quickly catch the interest of their listeners. They will learn and practice persuasive speaking techniques, and discover how to formulate a targeted message to appeal to the specific interests of their audience.
